FAQ

Clans

  • Overview
    Clans allow players to unite their Allies in a well-organized command structure with one name, banner, and hierarchy.

    Each member of a Clan is given their own credentials, duties, and responsibilities within the group. By joining Clan you can:
    - Become a part of a huge community called Clan;
    - Participate in Joint Attacks and huge battles;
    - Capture Emitters and increase your Clan's Influence over the Wasteland;
    - Earn great rewards for completing Clan Achievements;
    - Compete with other Clans in Challenges;
    - Take part in Clan Tournaments and prove your superiority while receiving immense rewards;
    - Participate in Clan Missions to win precious Reward Packs;
    - Upgrade your Clan HQ and boost your Troops' combat statistics.
  • Creating a Clan
    Level 10 is required before you can create a Clan.

    Go to the Embassy and open the 'My Clan' tab, enter a unique name for your Clan and design a logo with the help of the logo generator.

    You can send other players offers to join your Clan via the Friend List or by going to your Friend's Sector and clicking 'Invite' on the Actions menu.

    You can cancel sent invitations in the 'Invitations' tab of your Clan.

    You can accept or decline the requests to join your Clan in the "Applicants" tab of your Clan.

    Once you've created a Clan (which consists of 100 members of the cadre strength) it will have an Advanced Combat Training Academy (ACTA) to recruit and train Cadets. The number of Cadets your Academy may train at any given time is 10. A player must reach Level 5 to become a Cadet at the Academy.
  • Joining or leaving a Clan
    You can join a Clan in the following ways:
    - Accept another player's invitation from the "Embassies" tab of your Embassy - your Diplomatic Advisor will inform you when you receive a new one.
    - Send a request to a Clan Leader by clicking "Send request" in the "Clans" tab.

    Once you've reached Level 5, you may also become a Cadet in the Clan Advanced Combat Training Academy (ACTA) without sending a Clan Application if the Clan has spaces to train new players in their Academy (the number of spaces for Cadets is limited to 10). To do so go to the Embassy and open the "Join Clan" tab, then click "Join now". If you haven't decided which Clan or Academy to apply for, click "Join random Clan". This will place you within an open Clan based on your language preferences and Sector location.

    You can be a member of only 1 Clan at a time. To join another Clan, you must first leave your current Clan. If you are a Clan Leader and want to join another one, you must first delegate your status to another Clan member before being able to leave.

    You may leave your Clan in one of the following ways:

    A. Go to the "Clans" icon on the right-hand side of the screen, open the "My Clan" tab, and click on the "Warriors" subtab. Find yourself in the list of players and click the "Leave Clan" button alongside your name.

    B. Go to the Embassy, open the "My Clan" tab, and click on the "Warriors" subtab. Find your name in the list of players and click the "Leave Clan" button beside it.

    Remember, life in the Wasteland is a lot harder if you're going it alone, so you might not want to leave your Clan unless you are planning to join another one!
  • Clan Rank
    Clan Rank determines your position in the Clan, as well as duties and credentials.

    The Ranks are as follows: Clan Leader, Deputy Clan Leader, Force Commander, Warrior Elite, Deep-Strike Operative, Counter-Force Operative, Diplomat, Recon Operator, Private, Recruit, and Cadet. There are three Top Clan Ranks:

    - Set and edit Clan Ranks for other warriors of the Clan (except for Clan Leader and their other Deputy).
    - Appoint Force Commanders.
    - Remove players from their Clan (except for Clan Leader and the other Deputy).

    The Force Commander is an officer who commands Clan warriors (Warrior Elites, Deep-Strike Operatives, Counter-Force Operatives, Privates, and Recruits). The Force Commander coordinates the Clan's military actions and reports to Clan Leader and their Deputies. Force Commanders are authorized to:

    - Set and edit Clan Ranks for other warriors of the Clan (except for Clan Leader, their Deputies and Force Commanders).

  • Emitters. Overview
    The Emitter feature adds an entirely new dimension to the Clan warfare currently raging across the Wasteland. The stakes are now higher than simply bragging rights. A Clan's discipline and coordination are now shown with a direct visualization of their political influence on the Imperial Map as they secure and rebuild ancient Imperial Terraforming technology and consolidate their holdings.

    Teamwork will be key. Controlling and building Emitters is a task of such enormous scale that it can only be attempted by a highly-organized Clan of users. Join an existing Clan or create your own if you want to join the fight.

    Emitters can be found dispersed throughout the Imperial Map. They may be heavily defended by Stalkers, Mutants, and the occupying forces of rival Clans – so attempting a successful attack will require careful planning and execution.

    Any Clan that occupies an Emitter will have to defend it from increasingly powerful waves of Mutant hordes. With each successful defensive battle against the Mutants, your forces will extract and store Antigen from fallen Mutants within the Emitter. This can be then be used to convert your forces into powerful A-Mutants. A-Mutants boast considerably higher defensive and offensive statistics, in addition to costing far less to maintain than your regular forces. Once an Emitter is taken, it must be upgraded and powered. You can increase an Emitter's Defensive Bonus against attacks; its overall Antigen collection efficiency; its Antigen Storage capacity; and the range of Unit types it can A-Mutate by upgrading it and supplying it with additional Antigen.
  • Antigen/Mutation
    Mutants are controlled by the genocidally insane Artificial Intelligence, Morgana, in her plan to claim all the Emitters and reprogram them to xenoform the planet into one more suited for mutant lifeforms (extinguishing human life in the process). Any Clan that occupies an Emitter will have to defend it from increasingly powerful waves of Morgana's Mutant hordes, in addition to rival Clans. All Antigen that your Clan recovers from defeated Mutants is stored within the Emitter where the battle took place. Antigen can only be used by Clan Members who had Units participating in its defense, and who have been authorized Antigen access privileges by their Clan's Clan Leader or Deputy Clan Leaders.
  • Emitter Range
    The extent of influence an Emitter has on surrounding territory is determined by the Emitter's Range. This is calculated according to its power, upgrade level, and proximity to adjoining Emitters controlled by the same clan. This means that two Emitters of identical power and upgrade levels can have different Ranges. If an Emitter is positioned adjacent to one or more Emitters owned by the same Clan, it receives an Output Bonus and range boost - so try and capture as many adjoining Emitters as possible. The total output of all Emitters controlled by your Clan will be the sole factor determining your Clan's position in the Clan Rankings and influence on the game map.
  • Upgrading Emitters
    Once a Clan has captured an Emitter, its members must pool their resources towards upgrading it. Every Clan member can contribute resources and Crystals towards the Emitter's next upgrade level. The progress bar will display the Clan's collected contribution in demarcations from 20,000 to 50,000 Resources of any type. Once the progress bar is full, the Emitter will upgrade to the next level and its range and power will increase. If a Clan's Emitter is captured, it automatically loses 1 Level.

    Go to the Embassy and open the "Emitter" tab control the Transmitter you captured. If you succeed, your Troops will capture the Emitter and you'll be able to view its info at the Command Center. You can get information about your Clans' Emitters in the Combat Advisor's reports. The trade Advisor will inform you on Resource deliveries to the Emitter.
  • Emitter Interaction (Map)
    Position your cursor over an Emitter on the Imperial Map to choose from a set of possible actions:

    "Info" - Opens the Emitter Stats Window and offers you the following tree tabs (if this Emitter is controlled by your Clan):

    "Emitter" where you can:
    - Send additional Resources and Crystals, and check the Emitter's upgrade progress
    - Monitor the amount of Antigen level your Clan recovers from fallen Mutants
    - Redistribute Antigen to different Emitters (only for Clan Leaders, Deputies and Force Commanders)
    - View the Emitter's structural display

    "Garrisons" where you can:
    - Send reinforcements to an Emitter
    - View Troops currently guarding an Emitter
    - Open the "Emitter" tab at your Embassy

    "A-Mutation" where you can:
    - Select the number and type of Units for the A-Mutation protocol. Click A-Mutate to activate.
    - Review the Emitter's A-Mutation history

    "Send Reinforcements" - Select this option to send reinforcements to an Emitter. This option is only available for Emitters currently occupied by your Clan.

    "Capture" - Send a force to capture an Emitter.

    "Recon" - Attempt to Recon an Emitter.

    "Go to the Embassy" - Opens the Embassy window and allows you to view the stats of any Emitters your Clan currently controls by clicking the "Emitters" tab. You may also send reinforcements to a desired Emitter from this window.

    Use the Navigation Panel or Mouse Scroll from the Imperial or Regular Map to view an Emitter's pop-up action menu.

    If an Emitter is captured by the Enemy, all surviving Troops guarding the Emitter will be returned to their Home Sectors
  • Emitter Interaction (Within Sector)
    To control an Emitter from the Embassy, your Clan must have captured at least one Emitter on the map. Once you have control of one or more Emitters, go to the Embassy and open the "Emitter" tab. From here you can view information on the number and type of Troops currently Garrisoned at any Emitter occupied by your Clan. Deputies and Force Commanders can also use this interface to redistribute Antigen between their Emitters. Click on the Emitter's icon to view the Emitter on the Map. Click the blue button in the right-hand part on the screen to open the Emitter's stats window. From here you can add Resources and Crystals towards its next upgrade level or resupply its Antigen. The Emitter control window is available at the Embassy only if you have already joined an existing Clan, or created your own.

    You will receive battle reports on your Clan's Emitters from your Combat Advisors' reports. Your Trade Advisor will keep you informed on Resource deliveries between your Sector and your Clan's Emitters.

    To control Reinforcements garrisoned at your Clan's Emitters, open the «Garrisons» tab. From here you can view, reinforce, or recall any Reinforcements you have stationed at Emitters captured by your Clan.
  • Clan Command Relays
    Clan Command Relays are communication upgrades that increase your Clans maximum membership limit. (Max: 150 members)
    Upon reaching level 50, Clan Members will automatically begin receiving Clan Command Relays for every 5th additional level attained. The rate at which relays are earned will increase over time:
    Level 50 – 1 Command Relay
    Level 55 – 2 Command Relays
    Level 60 – 3 Command Relays
    Level 65 – 4 Command Relays
    Starting from Level 70 – 5 Command Relays

    To use the feature, go to the Embassy and open the "My Clan"/"Expansion" tab. From here you can view how many Command Relays you and your Clanmates currently have available, or apply your Command Relays towards raising your membership limit. Each additional Clan Membership slot requires 20 Command Relays to unlock. All level 50+ Clan Members may contribute towards Clan expansion. All Command Relays have been retroactively applied to reflect current Experience Levels.
  • Clan Achievements
    Clan Achievements are optional challenges that require the combined efforts of all Clan Members. Upon completion of each Achievement, each Clan will be rewarded with a Clan-wide bonus that will give them a significant edge over their competition in the Wasteland, along with additional perks for each participating Clan Member. These may include Tech Nodes, special Artifacts, Units, permanent modifications to their Sector or Unit statistics, or other features.

    Power Points

    Power Points are a unique value assigned to each Unit in the game, based on and relative to its respective Offensive or Defensive value. Power Points are used to make progress towards certain Achievements, and also play a significant role in the base calculation for experience points earned during battles.
  • Achievement Bonuses
    All Clan Achievements feature multiple levels. Upon completion of each Achievement Level, your Clan will be rewarded with increasingly larger bonuses. After completing the required number of Achievement Levels, each Achievement will be rated ‘Gold'. When a Clan has completed all Achievements at the ‘Gold' rating, either the Clan Leader or Deputy Clan Leader may take a screenshot of their Achievements (taken at the Embassy) and submit it to the Plarium support team to get a unique Clan logo.

    There are two kinds of Achievement Bonuses - Clan Bonuses, and Individual Bonuses.

    Clan Bonuses
    These are awarded to a Clan collectively upon successful completion of a Clan Achievement. These bonuses can take the form of ranking point boosts in the Clan Rankings, or Clan-wide bonuses to Unit or Sector statistics for all participating Clan Members. Clan Bonuses earned while being a member of one Clan are non-transferable, and can not be retained upon leaving that Clan. Clan Members joining a Clan after it has earned an Achievement will not enjoy the benefits of any existing Clan Bonuses. If you leave your Clan and join another one, you will be able to receive Clan Achievement bonuses only after you have been in that Clan for 7 days or more.

    Individual Bonuses
    These are your personal rewards for assisting your Clan in completing a Clan Achievement – these could take the form of Tech Nodes, free Units, or special items and Artifacts. To claim your bonus, click on the highlighted "Claim Reward" button in the "My Clan" section of the Embassy once your Clan has successfully completed an Achievement. Individual Bonuses are one-time offers and, like Clan Bonuses, cannot be used or earned again once you've left the Clan in which you received it, even if your new Clan earns a similar Clan Achievement.

    To view the list of Clan Achievements, along with their Terms and Bonuses, go the "My Clan" tab in the Embassy.
  • Joint Attacks
    Joint Attacks allow you and your Clanmates to deploy devastating massed attacks from up to three Clan Members as you battle for control of the Wasteland.

    Only Clan Leaders, Deputy Clan Leaders, Force Commanders, and Warrior Elites are authorized to organize and deploy Joint Attacks and manage their Clan Members' forces. A maximum of 3 Clan Members can take part in a single Joint Attack. Joint Attacks may be used to capture Deposits, or assault and control Emitters and HQs, but can NOT be used to invade or raid enemy Sectors or eliminate Infestations.

    Joint Attack Mechanics

    Follow these steps to participate in a Joint Attack:

    PREPARATION

    1. Designate a Clan Leader, Deputy Clan Leader, Force Commander, or Warrior Elite to coordinate and launch the Joint Attack.
    2. Have all participating members select «Send Reinforcements» from any interface to reinforce the attack coordinator.
    3. Choose the OFFENSIVE Units required for the mission and click «Send».

    ATTACK

    Once the attack coordinator has received all reinforcements needed, they may launch the attack by:

    1. Choosing the Deposit, Emitter, or Clan HQ you wish to target and opening the "Raid" window.
    2. Selecting "Joint Attack".
    3. Selecting the Clan Members who will be participating in the Joint Attack (only their Offensive Reinforcements will take part in a battle) and launching the Raid.

    As with other Reinforcements, sending Offensive Reinforcements to capture other Deposits does not allow you to collect Resources from that Deposit. You can help your Clanmates capture their Deposits, but distribution of proceeds is determined by clan leadership. Only the Joint Attack coordinator is authorized to collect Resources from a Deposit.

    Once you've sent Offensive Reinforcements to take part in a Joint Attack, go to the Command Center and open the "Tracking" tab to check current information about your Troops location and movement.

    If you send your Troops for a Joint Attack all losses, or Experience points will be proportionally distributed among those players who have taken part in the attack.

    The maximum number of Units that can be sent determined by the Force Limit of the attack coordinator. All reinforcing units will continue to supported by their home Sectors throughout all steps of the Joint Attack.
  • Clan Diplomatic Status
    Clan Leaders and those they entrust with Diplomatic Privileges have the right to negotiate 5 distinct Diplomatic Statuses with other Wasteland Clans.

    1. Neutral - All Clans begin with Neutral Status towards all other Clans. Clans with Neutral statuses can still attack each other's Emitters within normal Attack Limits.

    2. Ally – This is a symbolic designation with no effect on gameplay. Allied Clans have publically professed their mutual respect and friendship, but are not prevented from attacking each other's Emitters within Attack Limits.

    3. Enemy – This is a symbolic designation with no effect on gameplay. Clans with Enemy Status have publically declared their hostility towards each other, but are still restrained to Emitter Attacks within Attack Limits.

    4. At Peace – Clans who have declared a State of Peace are unable to make war upon one another's Emitters.

    5. At War – Clans who have declared a State of War shall not be bound by any Attack Limits when attacking each other's Emitters.

    NOTE: ONLY Clan Leaders or those they entrust with Diplomatic Privileges can change Diplomatic Statuses with other Clans.

    CHANGING DIPLOMATIC STATUSES

    To change your Diplomatic Status with another Clan, go to your Embassy's "Clans" tab, find the Clan, click on the icon in the "Status" column, and choose the desired Diplomatic Status from the pop-up menu. Once you have changed the Diplomatic Status, the other Clan will receive a notification to accept or decline the new status. Once the other Clan has accepted the Status change, the offer cannot be cancelled. You and your Clanmates will only see the new Diplomatic Status as active when the other Clan has accepted the change.

    VIEWING REQUESTS

    Go to the Embassy, open the "My Clan" tab, and click "Diplomacy" to view all pending Diplomatic requests from other Clans.
  • Clan Missions
    Clan Missions are special operations that allow you to cooperate with your Clan members to complete global objectives. All Clan Missions are given at random, and each Clan will have 24 hours to complete them. Participation is optional, however each completed Clan Mission grants huge rewards to your Clan. Each Mission features multiple phases. Upon completion of each phase of a Mission, your Clan will be rewarded with increasingly larger Rewards. All Rewards received are stored at the Black Market, within the "Misc." tab.

    There are 6 Clan Missions:

    1. Train Troops: to complete this Mission, a Clan must hire Troops that are worth the indicated number of Power Points.

    2. Purge Infestations: to complete this Mission, a Clan must earn the indicated number of Points by attacking or defending regular Infestations. If your fellow Commanders engage Campaign Mission Infested Sites, the Points they earn will be added ONLY to their Ranking and won't help complete the Clan Mission.

    3. Raid rival Sectors: to complete this Mission, a Clan must gain the specified amount of Resources from Raids.

    4. Complete Mercenary Operations: to complete this Mission, a Clan must engage the required number of Mercenary Operations.

    5. Kill enemy Troops: to complete this Mission, a Clan must earn the required number of Points.

    6. Downgrade Enemy Emitters: to complete this Mission, a Clan must earn the indicated number of Points by downgrading Enemy Emitters.
